Mastergaz installs new and replaces old apartment cold- and hot-water meters across Kyiv. The technician checks the connection, performs the agreed installation, tests for leaks and issues a work completion certificate.
Standard replacement of one accessible apartment meter costs UAH 750. Two meters at the same address cost UAH 1,400. Consumables are charged separately at UAH 30 per meter for replacement and initial installation. Labour plus consumables: UAH 780 for one replacement or UAH 730 per meter for two or more; the meter and registration are separate. A new meter, defective valves and non-standard plumbing work are charged separately only when required. The technician explains the reason and agrees the price before any additional work begins.

Registration: document sets and full prices
UAH 250 covers one document set with one provider after replacement or initial installation by Mastergaz. A set covers meters at one address and on one customer account with the relevant provider. This is not a charge per meter.
- Cold water only: UAH 250 per set with Kyivvodokanal. One or two cold water meters on one account cost UAH 250.
- Hot water only: UAH 250 per set with Kyivteploenergo or Euro-Reconstruction plus the required UAH 150 per set for wastewater registration with Kyivvodokanal. The total is UAH 400, including two hot water meters on one account.
- Cold and hot together: UAH 250 with Kyivvodokanal plus UAH 250 with Kyivteploenergo or Euro-Reconstruction, totalling UAH 500. Wastewater registration is included, with no additional UAH 150.
After installation by another company, when our technician visits, photographs and seals the meters and submits the documents: one cold water meter costs UAH 400; one hot water meter costs UAH 550; exactly one cold and one hot water meter cost UAH 700. Wastewater registration is included in UAH 550 and 700. No duplicate UAH 250 or 150 charge is added. The full prices are the same for Kyivteploenergo and Euro-Reconstruction; UAH 350 per meter applies only to this exact pair. Other meter combinations or handling without our visit require clarification.

The totals below include the selected meter, standard replacement and consumables at UAH 30 per meter. Consumables (gaskets, seals, act forms and security seals) are shown as a separate line in the quote and are already included in these totals. Apartment registration support is charged separately. Apator Smart+ DN15 110 mm costs UAH 850 per meter with our replacement or initial installation, or UAH 1,025 when bought separately.

Metron examples after standard replacement
These examples use the Metron base packages without registration: UAH 1,480 for one meter or UAH 2,860 for two. One meter requires one document set; two meters must be at one address and on one account with each relevant provider. These are standard replacement examples; initial installation uses its separate technical-work prices.
- One cold water meter: 1,480 + 250 = UAH 1,730.
- One hot water meter: 1,480 + 400 = UAH 1,880.
- Two cold water meters on one account: 2,860 + 250 = UAH 3,110.
- Two hot water meters on one account: 2,860 + 400 = UAH 3,260.
- One cold and one hot water meter: 2,860 + 500 = UAH 3,360, including wastewater registration.
Package prices apply to an accessible standard assembly. A new shut-off valve, filter, check valve, thread repair, pipe alteration, pit access or other non-standard work is quoted and agreed separately.
For a private house, labour at an accessible indoor connection costs UAH 850 per meter plus UAH 30 consumables and the meter price. Metron with standard installation and consumables totals UAH 1,580. Mastergaz does not submit private-sector water-meter registration documents after verification, initial installation or replacement; the customer applies personally. The customer receives the applicable work and meter documents. Pit or well work requires a separate estimate.
Water-meter registration support described here applies to apartments. For private houses after verification, initial installation or replacement, the customer submits documents personally; Mastergaz does not provide that submission service.

How the service works
- Submit the form, call us or send photos showing the full assembly, meter and shut-off valves.
- The operator checks the address, number of meters, DN, installation length, access and whether you need a new meter or document support.
- Before confirmation, you receive the standard price or a preliminary photo-based quote and an agreed arrival window.
- The technician replaces the meter, tests for leaks and agrees any extra work before starting it.
- You receive the work certificate and meter documents. If document support is ordered, the team prepares and submits the documents and updates you on the status.
Documents, official sealing and utility registration
The relevant utility provider performs official sealing and registration of the apartment meter in the customer account.
For an additional fee, Mastergaz can check the basic document set, prepare and submit the application, record the submission and monitor its status. The utility provider sets the inspection and sealing date.
Time, warranty and service area
Standard replacement of one accessible meter usually takes up to 60 minutes. It may take longer if the water cannot be shut off, the thread is damaged, access is restricted or valves must be replaced.
We serve all Kyiv districts. Visits to settlements outside Kyiv are available only after the operator confirms the service area and price. The operator confirms the arrival window. During an air-raid alert, emergency restriction or unsafe conditions, the visit may be rescheduled and the customer will be informed.
The warranty on installation work is 24 months under the Mastergaz public offer. The meter warranty follows the manufacturer’s documents. Keep the work completion certificate and the meter documentation.

It has accessible pipes with suitable threaded connections, working shut-off valves and enough space for installation. Riser tapping, welding, new pipework or rebuilding the connection is charged separately.
Who performs official sealing and utility-account registration?
The relevant utility provider. Mastergaz can provide separate document support.
What does document support include?
Checking the basic document set, preparing and sending the application, recording the submission, monitoring the status and updating the customer. No separate certificate confirming registration completion is issued. Customers can check meter visibility in their own Kyivvodokanal or Kyivteploenergo account, as applicable; staff do not need access to the customer’s account.
How long does replacement take and is an urgent visit available?
Under standard conditions, usually up to 60 minutes. A priority same-day visit is available for an extra UAH 400, subject to technician availability. Next-day visits use the standard rate when a slot is available.
Should I verify or replace the meter?
The statutory verification interval for water meters is four years. Verification checks the accuracy of a serviceable meter; replacement resolves a fault or incompatibility. If documents are missing, first check whether a copy or verification record can be recovered. Replace the meter when recovery is impossible, the device is faulty or continued use is uneconomical.
What warranty do I receive?
Installation work has a 24-month warranty under the Mastergaz public offer. The meter is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Keep the work completion certificate and the meter documentation.
Is meter verification still required during martial law?
Cabinet Resolution No. 412, which extended expired verification results, ceased to apply on 4 June 2023. Resolution No. 440 is now in force. In Kyiv, do not assume verification is automatically postponed; check the meter documents and the current provider procedure.
How long does official utility-account registration take?
Under Order No. 270, an apartment allocation meter is accepted into the utility account within 14 calendar days after a proper application is received, and the provider assigns the inspection and sealing date within 5 calendar days.
What should I do if the old meter has an official seal?
Do not break the seal yourself. The relevant utility provider performs official sealing and registration. Mastergaz can separately check the documents, prepare and submit the application and follow its processing.
Why not order the replacement directly from Kyivvodokanal?
That is a valid option, but the service scope differs. Kyivvodokanal’s official service includes DN15 replacement, official sealing and billing-system entry; Mastergaz offers a choice of meter, time slot, package and optional document support. Compare the same scope and convenience, not only the headline price.
