Standard replacement of one accessible apartment meter costs UAH 750. Two meters at the same address cost UAH 1,400. A new meter, defective valves and non-standard plumbing work are charged separately only when required. The technician explains the reason and agrees the price before any additional work begins.

Packages with a new meter

Each package includes the selected meter, standard replacement, basic sealing materials, a leak test, the work certificate and the meter documents. Document support for utility account registration is optional.

Package prices apply to an accessible standard assembly. A new shut-off valve, filter, check valve, thread repair, pipe alteration, pit access or other non-standard work is quoted and agreed separately.

For a private house, the package uses the UAH 850 labour rate: meter price + UAH 850 + optional document support. Example: Metron with installation in an accessible indoor connection costs UAH 1,550, or UAH 1,800 with document support. Pit or well work requires a separate estimate.

How the service works

1. Submit the form, call us or send photos showing the full assembly, meter and shut-off valves.
2. The operator checks the address, number of meters, DN, installation length, access and whether you need a new meter or document support.
3. Before confirmation, you receive the standard price or a preliminary photo-based quote and an agreed arrival window.
4. The technician replaces the meter, tests for leaks and agrees any extra work before starting it.
5. You receive the work certificate and meter documents. If document support is ordered, the team prepares and submits the documents and updates you on the status.

Documents, official sealing and utility registration

The relevant utility provider performs official sealing and registration of the apartment meter in the customer account.

For an additional fee, Mastergaz can check the basic document set, prepare and submit the application, record the submission and monitor its status. The utility provider sets the inspection and sealing date.

Time, warranty and service area

Standard replacement of one accessible meter usually takes up to 60 minutes. It may take longer if the water cannot be shut off, the thread is damaged, access is restricted or valves must be replaced.

We serve all Kyiv districts. Visits to settlements outside Kyiv are available only after the operator confirms the service area and price. The operator confirms the arrival window. During an air-raid alert, emergency restriction or unsafe conditions, the visit may be rescheduled and the customer will be informed.

The warranty on installation work is 24 months under the Mastergaz public offer. The meter warranty follows the manufacturer’s documents. Keep the work completion certificate and the meter documentation.

It has accessible pipes with suitable threaded connections, working shut-off valves and enough space for installation. Riser tapping, welding, new pipework or rebuilding the connection is charged separately.

What does document support include?

Should I verify or replace the meter?

The statutory verification interval for water meters is four years. Verification checks the accuracy of a serviceable meter; replacement resolves a fault or incompatibility. If documents are missing, first check whether a copy or verification record can be recovered. Replace the meter when recovery is impossible, the device is faulty or continued use is uneconomical.

What warranty do I receive?

Installation work has a 24-month warranty under the Mastergaz public offer. The meter is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Keep the work completion certificate and the meter documentation.

Is meter verification still required during martial law?

Cabinet Resolution No. 412, which extended expired verification results, ceased to apply on 4 June 2023. Resolution No. 440 is now in force. In Kyiv, do not assume verification is automatically postponed; check the meter documents and the current provider procedure.

How long does official utility-account registration take?

Under Order No. 270, an apartment allocation meter is accepted into the utility account within 14 calendar days after a proper application is received, and the provider assigns the inspection and sealing date within 5 calendar days.

What should I do if the old meter has an official seal?

Do not break the seal yourself. The relevant utility provider performs official sealing and registration. Mastergaz can separately check the documents, prepare and submit the application and follow its processing.
