How to prepare for storage water heater installation
Before booking, choose an approximate location for the water heater and
make sure it will remain accessible for future servicing. Consider not only the
dimensions of the empty appliance but also the weight of the tank when filled
with water. The technician must make the final decision on the wall and
mounting method. A weak surface, plasterboard finish, or furniture blocking
access may require alternative fixings or additional work.
What affects the water heater installation price
The cost depends on the water heater capacity, whether ready hot- and
cold-water outlets are available, the distance to utilities, the condition of
the electrical supply, the wall material and whether an old unit must be
removed. Two apartments with the same water heater can therefore require
different work. For a useful photo estimate, show the intended mounting area,
water outlets, nearest power point and overall access to the installation zone.
Ready connections versus installation from scratch
Ready connections are accessible, serviceable water points that allow the
water heater to be connected without running a new line. Installation from
scratch is required when new pipes, a water-line connection or separate
electrical preparation is needed. These items are priced separately and
approved before they are carried out.
Electrical requirements
A storage water heater combines water and electricity, so the power point
matters. The base scope can include only connection to an existing prepared
point whose suitability is confirmed within the agreed check. A new circuit,
socket, breaker, RCD or other protection is assessed separately and carried out
by the appropriate specialist.
Materials and fittings
The materials depend on the connection design. They may include hoses or
pipes, valves, fittings, fixings, a safety valve, pressure reducer or other
components. The list and estimated cost are agreed before installation. A
filter or pressure reducer should be recommended only when justified by the
water conditions, pressure and manufacturer requirements.

Can the final price be confirmed from photos alone?
Photos allow a preliminary estimate. The final price is confirmed after the
actual conditions have been checked. If hidden conditions are found, additional
work is carried out only after approval.
Is old-water-heater removal included?
No. Removal is priced separately according to the unit capacity and access
conditions.
Can I buy the water heater and installation together?
Yes. The appliance price and labour price are shown separately. When the
water heater and installation are ordered together, the technician brings the
appliance with no separate delivery charge under the current public offer.
Product-only delivery is charged at the carrier’s rate.
