Water meter replacement with a clear price and scope

Mastergaz installs new and replaces old apartment cold- and hot-water meters across Kyiv. The technician checks the connection, performs the agreed installation, tests for leaks and issues a work completion certificate.

Standard replacement of one accessible apartment meter costs UAH 550. Two meters at the same address cost UAH 1,080. A new meter, defective valves and non-standard plumbing work are charged separately only when required. The technician explains the reason and agrees the price before any additional work begins.

Package prices apply to an accessible standard assembly. A new shut-off valve, filter, check valve, thread repair, pipe alteration, pit access or other non-standard work is quoted and agreed separately.

For a private house, the package uses the UAH 700 labour rate: meter price + UAH 700 + optional document support. Example: Metron with installation in an accessible indoor connection costs UAH 1,400, or UAH 1,650 with document support. Pit or well work requires a separate estimate.

- filter or check-valve replacement: UAH 260 labour; UAH 200 part;

- shut-off valve replacement: UAH 390 labour; UAH 200 part;

- thread cutting: UAH 400/450/500 depending on diameter;

- pipe alteration, welding, assembly restoration, pit/well work or restricted access: agreed quotation;

- document support for utility account registration: UAH 250 per meter with the job or UAH 400 per meter as a stand-alone service;

- priority same-day visit: +UAH 400 subject to technician availability; next-day visits use the standard rate when a slot is available. No general evening, weekend or public-holiday surcharge applies during the controlled release.

How the service works

1. Submit the form, call us or send photos showing the full assembly, meter and shut-off valves.

2. The operator checks the address, number of meters, DN, installation length, access and whether you need a new meter or document support.

3. Before confirmation, you receive the standard price or a preliminary photo-based quote and an agreed arrival window.

4. The technician replaces the meter, tests for leaks and agrees any extra work before starting it.

5. You receive the work certificate and meter documents. If document support is ordered, the team prepares and submits the documents and updates you on the status.

Documents, official sealing and utility registration

The relevant utility provider performs official sealing and registration of the apartment meter in the customer account.

For an additional fee, Mastergaz can check the basic document set, prepare and submit the application, record the submission and monitor its status. The utility provider sets the inspection and sealing date.

Time, warranty and service area

Standard replacement of one accessible meter usually takes up to 60 minutes. It may take longer if the water cannot be shut off, the thread is damaged, access is restricted or valves must be replaced.

We serve all Kyiv districts. Visits to settlements outside Kyiv are available only after the operator confirms the service area and price. The operator confirms the arrival window. During an air-raid alert, emergency restriction or unsafe conditions, the visit may be rescheduled and the customer will be informed.

The warranty on installation work is 24 months under the Mastergaz public offer. The meter warranty follows the manufacturer’s documents. Keep the work completion certificate and the meter documentation.
