Hot water meter of the Smart+ product line from the Polish manufacturer Apator Powogaz. This device (DN15, length 110 mm) is designed for measuring hot water up to +90 °C in apartments and private houses. It is distinguished by its compact size, high accuracy, and the possibility of upgrading for remote data collection. The Smart+ series consists of new-generation single-jet dry dial meters, meeting an enhanced accuracy class (up to R100 in horizontal position) and providing improved protection against external influences.

• Advanced technology: the meter is equipped with an 8-digit dry register mechanism hermetically protected from water and condensation (IP65 by default, IP68 optionally available). This ensures readings are always clear and the mechanism is not exposed to hot water. The design provides the best protection on the market against strong magnetic fields – the device is immune to magnetic braking, exceeding the requirements of EN 14154 standard.
• Smart options: the Smart+ series is ready for integration into remote metering systems – the meter is designed to allow installation of an RF module (Wireless M-Bus) or pulse output without breaking seals. The module can transmit consumption data as well as alarm signals (tampering, reverse flow, leakage, etc.). This enables automated metering and monitoring of the device condition.
• Ease of installation and reading: the meter can operate in horizontal installation (optimal, accuracy class R100) and vertical installation (accuracy class R50). The rotatable register (~358° rotation) allows easy reading of values from any angle. The 3/4" threaded connection (DN15 coupling) is standard for most indoor systems.
• Reliability and materials: the body is made of high-quality brass, and the internal elements are made of wear-resistant materials that do not affect water quality. The device withstands working pressure up to 16 bar. Special design ensures protection against leaks and contamination – the measuring chamber is divided into “wet” (impeller) and “dry” parts, increasing the mechanism’s service life. The official verification interval is 4 years for hot water.
• Warranty commitments: the manufacturer provides up to 24 months warranty for this device, subject to compliance with the operating conditions specified in the manual. The actual service life of the meter exceeds 10 years, and all components are certified according to EU and Ukrainian requirements (the device bears the MID mark and complies with the Technical Regulation on measuring instruments).
